I got an email from my editor that the outline for my third book has been approved. Sooooo, I guess that means I have to get busy and start writing it. I sure hope I have an easier time writing the actual book than I did the outline. This plot is kicking my ass! I've heard other authors complain about how hard it was for them to write their third book. I breezed though book two with no problems and I'm even working on a standalone book apart from my series. But when it came time to start outlining Kendra book three, I spent most of my time staring at my computer screen. It came together in the end. . . but just barely.
Author
Jennifer Weiner, of Good In Bed fame, has jumped on the mystery bandwagon! Her new book is called
Goodnight Nobody and will hit shelves next month. I can't wait to read it. The synopsis sounds good even though the cover doesn't look very mysterious. But, man , you can sure tell when an author has "arrived" because Ms. Weiner's name is ten times bigger than the title.
Like to give a big shout of thanks to author
Nichelle Tramble for mentioning me and my
book in her
blog. For those of you who haven't read Nichelle's excellent and acclaimed mysteries featuring Maceo Redfield,
The Dying Ground and
The Last King, you're really missing out!
