Sunday, I watched the series
finale of
Six Feet Under and said goodbye the the Fisher family and friends. I have to admit, it was a perfect send off. My favorite part was the very end as
Claire Fisher is driving down the highway on her way to a new life in New York, and as she's driving, it shows the future of each of the main characters, including their
deaths. Sounds depressing, I know. But it was actually really good (they all live pretty long lives). Don't know if I'll be investing more time in another HBO series because HBO always gets me hooked on a series only to cancel it. I'm still pissed about
Carnivale they left that one hanging without even bothering to at least tie up all the loose ends.

Their new series is called
Rome. It looks really good, and I've always been fascinated by ancient Roman culture, but I haven't decided if I'll be watching.
Publishers Marketplace reported that rapper
Kanye West, who happens to be gracing the cover of
Time magazine this week, bought the
movie rights to author
Lolita Files' novel
Child Of God. I can't wait to see what he does with it IF the movie actually gets made.
The Company You Keep was mentioned in today's issue of the Electronic Urban Report(
