Saturday I went shopping for some new clothes. For the record, I'm not big on shopping. In my opinion there are only two good reasons to take your clothes off. The only thing that depressed me was having to get the clothes a size bigger than the last time I went shopping, which was this past spring. I wasn't happy about that at all and consoled myself with a large ice cream cone from Dairy Queen. I have a lot of moments like that hence the whole having to by bigger clothes thing. I don't quite know what happened to me. I didn't always used to be a slug. There was a time when I did an hour of non-stop high impact aerobics, or kickboxing every day. What happened to that chick? Where did she go? Now the only exercise I get these days is lifting a fork to my face! I don't eat to live. I live to eat. With the holidays rapidly approaching, bringing with it a multitude of food, I've decided to take some kind of action before I have to start wearing car covers. I'm not and I repeat NOT going on a diet. But I have decided to cut back and start moving. Today I used part of my lunch hour to go walking on the fitness trail in back of the campus. It actually felt good. I felt like I accomplished something. I'm going to try and do this everyday. Really I am!
